The
first thing to do is look
and see what system software is currently
in use.
click
on the system software you currently
have:

For
Systems 7.1 and
earlier
System
7.1 needs the full 7.5.3 install.
Currently it is not on our CD but is
available from apple's
ftp site
in 19 parts. After downloading the
upgrade, if it doesn't open automaticly,
double click on part 1 of 19 icon. Double
click on the icon that appears on the
desktop then double click on the
installer.
Click continue on the welcome screen and
then click the install button. After the
Installation finishes it will promt you to
restart. After restarting skip
to 7.5.3...

7.5-7.5.2
Included
on our CD is the update to system 7.5.3.
Insert the CD and double click on it.
Scroll down to the bottom of the window
and open the programs folder. Find the
apple system updates folder, open it and
open the 7.5.3 installer folder and double
click the installer.
Click continue on the welcome screen and
then click the install button. After the
Installation finishes it will promt you to
restart. Keep reading for the next

Also
on our CD is the update to 7.5.5 from
7.5.3. Insert the CD and double click on
it. Scroll down to the bottom of the
window and open the programs folder. Find

then click the install button. This one
takes less time to run than the previous.
After the Installation finishes it will
promt you to restart. After restartting we
are done upgrading the system and can now
install Open
Transport.

Users
of system 7.5.5 should use
Open
Transport
as opposed to the classic style networking
that is the default install. For
installation instructions,

MacOS
7.6.1
This
version of the MacOS is a pretty stable
version, Open Transport is installed
automaticlly so the control panels should
include TCP/IP,
PPP,
and Modem.

8.x
Users
of MacOS 8.0 are encuraged to download the
8.1
update
(16 meg download). Open Transport is
installed for both versions automaticlly
so the control panels should include
TCP/IP,
PPP,
and Modem.

A
minor change happened between 8.1 and 8.5,
the PPP control panel was renamed to
Remote
Access,
The TCP/IP
and modem
control panels have remained the
same.
